Found a cheeky guide on Steam Forums showing 2 Courier systems much like the ADITI run I had posted for Imperial Rank grind.

Takes about 2 Days of work from Warrant Officer to Rear Admiral for the Corvette unlock :)

Link now has posts saying it was nerfed. I find it more likely it was a server side change.
